ALTINKUM
Altinkum means "golden sands" and with its beaches which gently shelve into the inviting turquoise blue Aegean, you will soon see how the resort got its name. Altinkum has something for everyone. During the day you can relax on one of its three beaches. The main beach, or first beach is the largest of its beaches and has a promenade of shops, bars, hotels, restuarants and night clubs. The Second beach is to the left of the main beach this is much smaller but still has its own bars and restuarants. The Third beach area is beyond the luna park and is the smaller of the three beaches. This is a quiet beach with a few restaurants which are right on the beach. There is a large 5 star Hotel just opened in 2006 along with the Marina and a golf course.

At night Altinkum has much to offer from the quiet to the lively with its wide variety of restuarants, bars and night clubs.
There are boat trips organised daily from the harbour in summer season which starts beginning of May. water sports, diving courses, fishing tours are also available.

AKBUK
Akbuk is a very new township it was developed in 1991. This is a very peaceful and beautiful area with some breath taking panaromic views. Much of this area is a preserved green belt area and there are building restrictons in force to preserve its beauty.
Its own beach area and few restaurants this is a wonderful area for anyone that wants just to relax and let the world go by. There are a few three and four star hotels and even though this area has been explored by tour operators it still remains the quietest of the local resorts.
Akbuk can be reached by the local bus service that runs approx every 20 mins from Altinkum.
YESILKENT
This is situated to the left of Altinkum. This is a little more developed than Akbuk but is still a very quiet and beautiful area with some of its own very nice beaches. The local bus service also runs out to Yesilkent from Altinkum.
